WHAT A STORY !!!
1. Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, said the youth, who was riding a motor cycle along with two others, snatched the revolver of a constable when their two-wheeler was stopped during a checking of vehicles in view of President Pratibha Patil's visit.
2. Uttarakhand Inspector General of Police N A Ganapati said the three boys were asked to stop by G D Bhatt, a sub-inspector at Dalanwala area. When the police searched their bag, a weapon was found in it, he said, adding that the boys overpowered Bhatt, snatched his revolver and fled. When the SI flashed a message over the wireless, the boys were intercepted at another place and there was an encounter in which Ranbir was killed..
When Ranbir's father questioned about his son's criminal record the Dehradun police gave him a clean chit...
The Meerut police and Ghaziabad police have said that there was no criminal case registered against Ranbir. Ranbir's call records have also proven that he never spoke to the builder who was allegedly being threatened. It is also understood that this was Ranbir's first ever visit to Dehradun. The cops are probing the alleged nexus between the circle officer and the builder. The circle officer is in fact the person who carried out the encounter!!
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:
Eyewitnesses say that they saw Ranbir alive. He was pushed into the police van and the same evening his body was found in the nearby Ladpur jungles.
The Eyewitness also dared to appear live on TV channels..

The SSP in an interview said that it was not possible in all times to shoot below the knee roll..
Are the cops trained enough to give them a revolver???

Why would a student visiting Dehradun for the first time be targeted in such a way that it all looks soo well planned.
Why did the police dare to give such a biased version of the encounter, when there were eyewitnesses??
A murder case has been registered & a FIR has been filed.. But why are not the cops arrested?????
Will there be any end to these soo called student encounters??? nearly 270 called encounters have been registered... Are the people killed really accused?? Or were they made a scapegoat for the actions of certain people..
Did these morons ever think about the parents of this innocent youth?? What if the same had happen end to their own??? Have people become soo Cold blooded??? Is'nt he a person just like us.... So many lives lost.. So many bought to the streets..
All these agitations & protests are only till the newspapers & TV channels remember this incident..
We aren’t upset that the police have killed someone with no reference to the due process of law. We are upset that they have killed the wrong guy, that’s it. It’s the episode that angers us, not the concept of an extrajudicial killing.
